Our teachers and staff are the greatest asset of Bethel Preschool. We value them as much as we value the children and families we serve. Our staff have been chosen due to their experience and educational background as well as their personalities and their love for children.

Lead Teacher: Glenda Fisher, Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education K-12 from Virginia Commonwealth University. 45 Years combined teaching in public schools, daycares, and preschools
Assistant Teacher: Amy Powell, Course work for Business Administration and Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. Early Childhood Education certification classes from John Tyler Community College. Two years of experience in preschool classrooms.
Lead Teacher: Rachel Strickland, Masters of Science in Education from Longwood University.  10 years’ experience in public schools.
Assistant Teacher: Brenda Peck, Virginia Commonwealth University. 2 years’ experience in preschools.
2's ClassLead Teacher: Nancy Dewire, M.S. Speech-Language Pathology from James Madison University. B.S. in Speech-Language and Auditory Pathology from East Carolina University. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language Pathology from The American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Over 35 years of experience with birth to 3-year-olds. Additional experience in school systems, private practice and hospitals.

Assistant Teacher: Susan Brown, High School Diploma from Manchester High School. 7 years’ experience in preschools.

Director/Teacher: Carter Cosgrove, Bachelor of Arts in Art; Double Minor in business management and dance from Meredith College. 14 years’ experience teaching in studios and preschools.
